What We Do
The Foundation has been working with community partners to enhance services at local health care facilities since 1993. We mobilize the power of volunteers and the generosity of donors and partners to elevate the health and well being of our community.
We build relationships with individuals and community partners to raise funds to enhance health care services provided at the Leduc Community Hospital and the Public Health Centres in Beaumont, Leduc and Thorsby. We also promote the programs and services of these facilities.
Why We Do It
Our efforts are focused on supporting much-needed health care programs, specialized equipment and innovative projects that elevate health care and wellness. From a microwave in a family lounge at the hospital, to palliative care initiatives, medical unit enhancements or state-of-the-art high-tech equipment such as the CT scanner, no need has been too big or small.
Why do we do it? Because we all want to be part of a community in which individuals and families are healthy and well.
Join Our Board
We are currently seeking committed individuals to serve a three-year term on the Board. This is a volunteer (non-paid) position. Interested individuals, who are residents of the communities served by the Foundation (greater Leduc region), are invited to submit an online application to the Board for consideration. The Board will review all applications and contact qualified candidates for further discussion. Those individuals invited to become a Trustee must submit to a police reference check prior to being appointed to the Board.
